A modern-day murder ballad… Taking cues from a cult American mystery series, an Alice Sebold novel, Nic Pizzolatto screenplays as well as singer Jan Schewe's own small town upbringing, “For the Record”, the second single off of Cascade Lakes’ upcoming self-titled debut album, tells the story of a love gone wrong. The accompanying video features footage from Avrocar flight testings. The Acrocar was a VTOL aircraft that bore a close resemblance to a flying saucer. A visionary project that was ultimately doomed to fail.
